With a passion for the arts from a young age, DaCosta has honed his craft and become a skilled and recognized filmmaker. He has won several film festival awards and has been apart of prestigious film festivals like the American Black Film Festival. His short films have also been featured on national television networks such as CBS, CWTV, NBC, FOX, and ABC. DaCosta is highly motivated and passionate storyteller and is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to showcase his talent. He is also passionate about mental health, and many of his stories revolve around it. DaCosta is committed to using the art of film to bring awareness and understanding to the subject of mental health and to tell the world stories that are often overlooked by society.
